Correct Wiring of WiFi / Cable Routers to Boundless Outside Equipment

The vast majority of support calls from customers who cant get a connection, are a result of no power to the outside equipment, or the WiFi router being powered up before the outside equipment has established a connection to the mast.

Please check the following pictures to confirm that your outside equipment is powered up and correctly connected to your WiFi Router.

If your wiring is correct, please check that you have followed the correct power on sequence.

The outside equipment must be powered on first, so turn off power to both the PoE injector and the WiFi router. Now turn on power to ONLY the PoE injector, and wait around 10 minutes to allow time for the outside radio to start-up and establish a connection to the mast.

After waiting, power on the WiFi Router it will also take a minute or two to start-up.

Now reconnect your Internet device using WIFi or a CAT5 cable connected between one of the spare black ports on the router and your computer (not shown on diagram).

In most cases this will resolve your connection problem. If not please contact our support team for further assistance.
